Metal spinners of both common and exotic metals

Artec Engineering have a wealth of experiencing spinning many types of metal, both common and exotic. We take into consideration the characteristics of each material, it’s capabilities and it’s limits. Artec have spun parts and components destined for the most testing of applications, such as nuclear power stations and aerospace applications. Specifications are adhered to and met to the absolute finest of tolerances to ensure that the materials and fabrication processes withstand the stresses of the intended environment.

Combined processes to achieve precision components

High tech, precision components can be achieved by combining the abilities of our coded welders and spinners, and of course by combining techniques and processes such as CNC machining, hydraulic metal spinning, shear forming, flow forming and hand spinning. Our wide scope of tooling dictates that we can be flexible with our approach to each project and keep costs to a minimum for the client. We regularly produce prototype parts for assessment, and can provide both mechanical and non-destructive testing services direct to the customer.

Highly Qualified ASME IX (or ASME 9) Coded Welders

Our welders are ASME IX coded welders to assure of high quality welds and we run a wide range of capability in both alloy, mild steel and stainless steel. We also have a weld crushing and crevis freeing capability suitable for the pharmaceutical industry.
